Beginners Ski Courses.
Two options are available for adults, either a series of weekday evenings (2 hours) or a series of weekend sessions (1¾ hours). Each pattern costs £99 for the series of three sessions. Courses for 8 to 14 year olds (1¾ hours) are available over three weekends at £76 for the three sessions. At least three sessions are needed to achieve reasonable snowplough turns.
Each session has a clearly defined content:
- Level 1 - starts from scratch with an introduction to the equipment and lots of straight running. Just touches on the snowplough.
- Level 2 - recaps straight running and develops the snowplough. Introduces use of the nursery slope tow.
- Level 3 - takes place on the main slope. Consolidates the snowplough and introduces snowplough turns. Assumes that everyone can use the tow.

Beginners Snowboard Courses.
Adult courses consist of three two hour evening sessions over three consecutive weeks at £99 for the three sessions. Young people’s courses (1¾ hours) are available for 10 to 14 year olds and take place over three consecutive weekends at £76 for the three sessions. All snowboard sessions take place on the nursery slope.
Each session has the following content:
- Level 1 - starts from scratch with an introduction to the equipment. Covers toe side and heel side sideslipping and an introduction to the falling leaf.
- Level 2 - consolidates the falling leaf and introduces the straight run and use of the tow.
- Level 3 - recaps previous sessions and introduces turns.
